Orlando Rivera is a multidisciplinary technology leader with a career spanning over two decades in emerging tech, media, and education. With experience across globally recognized organizations, including JPMorgan Chase, IBM, AT&T, QVC, BMG, Ernst & Young, and Canela Media, Orlando has successfully led cross-functional teams (3–30+ members) in developing innovative mobile, AI, XR/AR, and video platforms for Fortune 500 companies and startups alike.
He is the founder of VRspaces LLC, where he architects cutting-edge apps, animations, film, VFX, AI, and immersive experiences—many of which have been published in the Apple, Google, and Meta/Oculus VR stores. A seasoned iOS and game developer, Orlando’s work merges creativity with functionality, especially in AR/VR, mobile streaming, and educational media.
Orlando serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Tufts University, where he teaches advanced immersive technology courses and develops a curriculum that integrates AI, XR, and game design. He has been a Guest Speaker at NYU, and a Digital Arts Instructor at MarbleJam Center and Middlesex County Vocational School, demonstrating a strong commitment to education and mentoring underserved youth.
He has presented on Technology and Digital Media topics at various conferences, including MLearning.dev.com, the Trenton Computer Festival, Princeton, Columbia University, and Touro College.
