Together we’ll explore the fashions and conventions of written English, how to master them, and when to flout them. Whether we’re discussing punctuation basics, misplaced modification, or the rhetorical effect of subtle syntactic decisions, the material covered will help writers of all levels harness the power of grammar to write elegant and effective sentences and no doubt prove especially useful for students looking to raise their scores on the writing sections of standardized tests like the SAT, ACT, GRE, and GMAT.
