Building confident readers through fun, foundational phonics and early literacy skills. This course is designed for 1st through 3rd grade students developing foundational reading skills. Covering Phonics Levels 1, 2, and 3, the course focuses on letter sounds, decoding strategies, and reading techniques that support fluency, comprehension, and confidence. Through structured lessons and engaging practice, students will: • Master letter-sound relationships and common phonics patterns • Apply decoding strategies to read unfamiliar words • Improve fluency and pacing while reading aloud • Build vocabulary and early comprehension skills Target Audience: Elementary students in grades 1–3 who are developing early reading skills. Learning Objectives: By the end of the course, students will: • Identify and blend letter sounds with increasing accuracy • Decode grade-level words with fluency • Demonstrate improved reading confidence and independence WHEN WE MEET We meet every week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, starting on Aug 11, 2025, ending on Aug 29, 2025.
