Crack the Code of Reading with Phonics! This course is designed for early learners, typically preschool to Grade 2 students, who are beginning their journey into reading. It is also ideal for educators and parents seeking effective strategies to support children’s phonics development. Topics covered will include, introduction to letter sounds and letter-sound correspondence and decoding. Students will confidently identify and pronounce individual letter sounds. They will also blend sounds to read simple words for spelling. This course is designed to prepare students for early literacy assessments commonly administered in primary grades but is not tied to a specific exam date or certification. It supports foundational skills that align with many standardized reading benchmarks. Students completing this course can expect measurable improvement in decoding accuracy, reading fluency, and word recognition skills.
