Service Description

Get assistance with academic writing, presentations, or other communication projects! Many colleges and universities have a Writing Center, a place where students can take their writing assignments for assistance and feedback from a trained tutor. This study group is designed to offer a similar experience for high school or college students who do not have access to a campus-based Writing Center or who need more specialized assistance than peer tutors can provide. Students are welcome to bring writing assignments at any stage of the writing process, from brainstorming to revision. Students are also welcome to bring other kinds of communication projects, such as slides. The goals of this study group is to help participants become better writers and to improve writing assignments through the opportunity for feedback, revision, and skill development. WHEN WE MEET Takes place every week on Monday, Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, starting on Aug 20, 2025, ending on Dec 03, 2025.
