Hello! I’m Casey Russell, an experienced educator with over a decade of experience helping learners and professionals thrive. My journey in education began in the classroom, where I spent nearly nine years as a lead educator at Morenci Unified School District. During that time, I implemented phonics-based literacy programs, led training workshops for over 100 educators, and developed curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs—including students with hearing loss.

After transitioning into instructional design, I’ve had the opportunity to create dynamic, engaging learning experiences for a variety of industries—from finance to dentistry. I specialize in applying adult learning principles and leveraging tools like Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate, and Figma to design training that’s both effective and enjoyable. I’ve developed everything from microlearning compliance tips to full-scale onboarding programs and communication skills training.

Some of my proudest accomplishments include increasing learner satisfaction by over 30% through design enhancements, launching a peer mentorship program that improved new hire retention, and leading a phonics initiative that boosted literacy rates by 60%.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about making learning accessible and inspiring through technology. I love exploring new digital tools, designing eLearning assets, and promoting upskilling opportunities in my community. I also enjoy creative pursuits like video editing, graphic design, and working with ASL to support inclusive communication.
